Where the numbers come from
Prices come from TCGplayer, pulled on a daily schedule via tcgcsv.com. Listing price and reported market value are separate measures. Market value is derived from sales; it is not an individual last-sale price. The listing feed does not establish condition or shipping cost.
Card details — artist, rules text, element, threshold, keywords — come from Erik's Curiosa's own card data, which is the game's authority on what a card is. Marketplaces get this wrong: their listings had the wrong element on a handful of cards and printed a mana letter this game does not use.
Daily snapshots are retained in the repository. Card and sealed history records market-price observations; playmat history records the source's listing-first price. The current quote and archive have separate dates and can differ. Missing or unchanged observations do not establish whether a product traded. Historical backfills and corrections are documented changes, not individual transaction records.
Summaries built from that archive: daily movers(24-hour, 7-day and 30-day) and monthly market reports.
Reading a price comparison
For example, a $10 lowest listing and a $7 market value are two different observations: a seller's asking price and the source's transaction-derived market measure. Neither guarantees that you can sell your card for that amount. Listing condition may vary and shipping is excluded.
If ten of an artist's twelve non-foil records have market quotes, the non-foil subtotal includes those ten quotes and reports 10 of 12 coverage. The two missing quotes are not zero-priced cards. Foil totals are calculated separately. These are recorded-value subtotals, not guaranteed costs to complete a collection.
A hypothetical 24-pack box listed at $120 is $5 per pack before shipping. That arithmetic compares package sizes; it does not estimate the value of cards inside. A market-history date is the date of an observation, not the date of an individual sale.

One person — Gothic Frog. This is a fan project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or tied to Erik's Curiosa Limited. Trademarks and artwork belong to their respective owners.
The site sells nothing and has no accounts, no sign-up and no buylist. Buy links go out to TCGplayer, which is where the prices come from — there is no affiliate arrangement behind them today.
A listing reports what a seller was asking; a market value summarises recorded sales. Neither is an offer, a valuation or advice — verify before you buy or sell.
