Hi — I'm Gothic Frog. Started with Magic in the late '90s, drifted through plenty of others over the years, stopped at the Realm. Small enough to know the cast, deep enough to come back to. I built this site because I needed it, and figured a few other people probably did too.
Sorcery isn't easy to come into from the outside. 169 resources scattered across Discord, Facebook, regional shops, podcasts, art houses, and one official site that — by design — sticks to rules and lore. I spent months collecting all of it for myself. This is that, cleaned up and shared.
What's here, and why
The directory is the bones: every store stocking the cards, every active Discord, every podcast, every deckbuilder, every art house I could find — sorted into categories, filterable, searchable. If I missed something, it's because I haven't found it yet. The articles are the meat: long-form pieces I write when something deserves more than a bullet point — the Curio archives, set explainers, beginner guides. The news page is where I bookmark the third-party announcements and podcasts worth your attention.
How entries land here
I open every link before it ships. Dead invites, dead shops, dead groups don't make it. The "Official" tag means run by Erik's Curiosa Limited or their direct partners — everything else is community-made and community-run.
Why "independent"
Erik's Curiosa Limited makes the game; I just play it. This site isn't run by them, endorsed by them, or affiliated with them. The community is the source of every resource you see here — the Discords, the groups, the shops, the artists. I'm just the one keeping the list. The trademarks and artwork belong to their owners; the curation choices are mine, and so are any errors.
